Ringo, Alistair, Vida and Angie

Ringo was a character - a character with a drink problem. Most people remember a big bushy beard, some wild stories he told sometimes some stories of his naughty adventures. He was funny, an amazing musician and someone who lived life to the full.
We are not very sure whether Ringo had more cars or girl friends, but he had more of both than he had dinners.
Ringo was a fisherman, occassionally legally, but he also worked as a bouncer and a fishmonger running his own business.
He had a short marriage to Amanda (Mandy) and sadly died of Pneumonia on Christmas day 2003.

Alistair was the quieter brother when they were little - he barely spoke until he was five. Alistair trained as an engineer and a photographer, but spent much of his life as a fisherman.
He married Catriona in the Dominican republic. Catriona has worked as a prison guard, a psychologist, a lawyer and a teacher.
When the fishing industry was dying, he switched to working as an ROV pilot for oil companies. They have a daughter called Taylor born in 1995.

Vida was very sporty when she was younger, but after a car accident, she developed arthritis. She married James Smith in 1973 and she worked for a while as a secretary in the house of commons before giving up her career to support Jim in his.
Jim worked in various parts of the world and eventually ran Shell in the UK.
Vida and Jim have a son called James who's girlfriend is expecting her first baby

Angie has lived most of her life in Lochinver,leaving only to get a catering degree in Inverness.
She had two children from her first marriage, John and Jamie (sadly Jamie died in 2005). John works for his mums cousing in Wantage
She also had two children from her second, Darren and Lauren. Darren works as a prooduct manager in York. Lauren is touring the world.
Angie has had various jobs - everything from a restaurant manager to a firewoman. She is currently an auxillery nurse, carer and a Marie curie nurse.
